Doina Elena Gavrila is Emeritus Professor, physicist, researcher at the Physics Department of the University “Politehnica†of Bucharest.She holds Bachelor of Science with honors, Aurel Vlaicu College, Bucharest, 1959. She holds degrees in Physics (1965) from the University of Bucharest. PhD in Macromolecular Physics, Doctor of Philosophy, University Bucharest, (1975) with the thesis “Influence of nuclear radiation on the characteristics of some polymeric substancesâ€
