The National Gallery of Victoria, the Royal Exhibition Building, and the Melbourne Cricket Ground are just a few of Australia's most well-known attractions that can be found in Melbourne. Noted for its social legacy, the city led to Australian standards football, Australian impressionism, and Australian film, and has all the more as of late been perceived as an UNESCO City of Writing and a worldwide place for road craftsmanship, unrecorded music and theater. In addition to hosting the Summer Olympics in 1956, it also plays host to major annual international competitions like the Australian Grand Prix and the Australian Open. For much of the 2010s, Melbourne was consistently ranked as the world's most liveable city.

 

Melbourne Air terminal, otherwise called the Tullamarine Air terminal, is the second-most active air terminal in Australia, and the Port of Melbourne is the country's most active seaport. Its super metropolitan rail end is Flinders Road station and its vitally local rail and street mentor end is Southern Cross station. In addition, it has the world's largest urban tram network and Australia's most extensive freeway network.
